Vincent Icke’s art encompasses a wide range of styles, media, applications, and concepts: from graphic work and classical painting to digital and spatial work. He was a guest lecturer at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy and DasArts in Amsterdam, St. Joost in Den Bosch, and the Rijks academie in The Hague. Vincent is also a professor of theoretical astrophysics at Leiden University and a publicist. He studied theoretical physics and astronomy in Utrecht, obtained his PhD in Leiden, and worked as a postdoc at the universities of Sussex and Cambridge, and at the California Institute of Technology. He then became a lecturer at the University of Minnesota before returning to Leiden. His scientific research focuses on radiation hydrodynamics and cosmic structure formation.
