Peeter Burgeik a.k.a. Peter A.G. van Bergeijk, emeritus professor in macro and international economics (PhD from Groningen University, previous professorships at University of Zurich and Erasmus University). His last book is On the inaccuracies of economic observations. Peeter is a self-taught painter that became lithographer (steendrukker) as a student of Aad Hekker and George Hadeler. Known as Peeter Burgeik, Peter explores rhythm and repetition in the layered connections between mind and matter and the role of uncertainty and serendipity in making artful sense.
